Job Summary:

Our chosen candidatewill perform a variety of highly skilled and specialized duties.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide modeling and simulation analysis in support of propulsion related activities using internal and industry standard analysis codes
  • Lead and support study teams and perform the following activities: problem identification, study planning, data collection, data consolidation, model setup, model execution, data extraction, data analysis, database management, study briefings and presentations
  • Understanding of tactical missile systems engineering processes
  • Develop study plans, define requirements and evaluate solutions
  • Lead analysis teams
  • Participate in system engineering activities which include: Concept of Operations formulation; Requirements Definition; Analysis and Engineering; Validation and Verification; System & Operational Performance Analysis


Job Qualifications (Education/Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college/university in engineering, physical science, computer science, operations research, mathematics or other technical fields. Bachelor’s and five (5) years or more of related experience preferred or Master’s and three (3) years or more of related experience. PhD candidates will be considered on the basis on their research and thesis. Candidate should have strong background in mechanics, thermodynamics, chemistry and fluid dynamics.

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Visio. Ability to work with 3D models and 2D drawings. High competency in computer programming.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to understand and interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Strong mechanical aptitude and technical leadership skills. Experience with solid rocket motors, and solid-fuel air-breathing propulsion and industry standard analytical codes such as ENGAGE is a plus.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

The chosen candidate must be able to obtain BATF approval to work with our products. Ability to qualify for and if necessary obtain DoD security clearance.
