Job Summary: | |||||||||||
As Engineering Director for NEIH, you will be responsible for supporting our military business programs, directing IRAD activities and establishing and maintaining a competent and cutting edgeengineering and scientific technology organization. This position will report to the VicePresident of Advanced Programs and Engineering, and will work very closely withcompany leadership, program management, quality assurance, operational leaders,internal and external customers, and other sites within Nammo AS. | |||||||||||

Job Qualifications (Education/Skills/Experience): | |||||||||||
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Advanced degree in Mechanicaland/or Aerospace Engineering with 15 years related experience in design,development and manufacture of solid tactical rocket motors. Experience inhybrid propulsion is highly desirable.
COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully,an individual must be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office software: Word,Excel, Power Point, Project, Outlook and Visio. Working knowledge of solidmodeling software (i.e. Solid Edge/SolidWorks, I-DEAS NX, etc.) 3D model and 2Ddrawing creation is desired.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES CAD design of parts, tooling,molds and fixtures; concise technical writing skills, and strong mechanicalaptitude and technical leadership skills are a plus.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Ability to obtain BATF approvalto work with our products. Ability toqualify for and if necessary obtain DoD security clearance at secret level orabove.
