As a Solutions Engineer in CCB, you will be responsible for the analysis of the organization's business needs and the related design, implementation, and maintenance of the network infrastructure to support those business needs. You will have the opportunity to work on a tight-knit team leveraging varied technical expertise to create solutions for your clients. This will allow you to gain knowledge and exposure to new teams and technologies across the firm.
  • Utilize strong Engineering background in an Agile environment across emerging technologies like Internet of Things, Cloud, Data Power, Kafka, Hadoop/Spark, and automation
  • Transform an organization through a culture change
  • Create technical designs to ensure technology interoperability, document existing and proposed network infrastructure, maintain relationships with technical solution providers, and provide fourth tier troubleshooting/ support
  • Document small-to-large scale projects and deliver presentations to key stakeholders
  • Assemble technology solutions and effectively define and implement a working architecture
  • Solicit input from internal and external sources
  • Implement strong financial disciplines
This position is anticipated to require the use of one or more High Security Access (HSA) systems. Users of these systems are subject to enhanced screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks, and/or other enhanced screening at the time of accepting the position and on an annual basis thereafter. The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical architecture experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of Infrastructure Engineering experience (Distributed Unix and Windows)
  • 3-5 years of Data Power experience
  • AWS, Azure, and other Cloud experience
  • Internet of Things experience
  • Apache Kafka experience
  • Hadoop / Spark experience
  • Automation experience
  • Proven Agile experience
  • Proven Financial experience
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solver, while being able to build relationships
  • Style that promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to manage to tight deadlines with a mindset for flexibility
  • Excels in a fast paced environment and ability to partner, adjust priorities and deadlines as need to meet the larger business goals
  • Knowledge of cloud based technologies
  • Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies
Experience with HA/SR design principles
