Job Summary:

As an Scientist/ Engineering Intern, this individual will perform various chemical or mechanical projects in the ResearchDepartment as a member of the Energetic Materials Technology organization.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support propellant/explosive processing operations

  • Preparation of sample hardware for testing

  • Test data analysis

  • Organization and documentation of historical technical data

  • Literature surveys in support of research objectives

  • Support internal research and development programs

  • Present data,conclusions and recommendations to team and management, as required

  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Job Qualifications (Education/Skills/Experience):

    Currently enrolled and/or attending college in a Science or Engineering related curriculum

    o Chemistry, Physics, ChemicalEngineering, or Mechanical Engineering preferred

    Proficiency with software applications for engineering and business to include MS Office applications

    Excellent critical thinking, communication, reading and writing skills

    **Note**: Due to US Export Control laws and regulations; applicants selected for employment must show proof of a U.S. Person status before employment may begin.
