Position Title: Project Manager
Position Duties: Organize the engineering efforts focused on research and development for our autonomous driving systems. Maximize the efficiency of our global autonomous engineering groups from our U.S. R&D headquarters in Michigan. Develop a combined vehicle build and testing team, system and process that will provide functional equipment and testing support towards the development of an autonomous vehicle. Lead a team in building up of an autonomous vehicle, working with the vehicle actuation team, internal engineering teams and suppliers adhering to build and testing deadlines. Create and streamline project management processes for autonomous build teams in India, China and the US. Manage projects being performed primarily in the U.S. but also with oversight to team activities related to the autonomous efforts taking place in India and China. Create and implement business infrastructure to maximize team productivity. Oversee business development efforts including business strategy, go to market, statements of work, and bid and proposal management. Work closely with suppliers to develop and maintain relationships.

Must have U.S. or foreign equivalent bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and five (5) years of experience as an Engineer. The five (5) years of experience must include experience working on automotive software development projects and the agile development processes; preparing SOW, proposals and project management plans; leading and managing teams of engineers in embedded and mechanical engineering performing analysis, preparing project plans, status reports, review checklists, review reports, metrics data on defects and analysis reports, competency profiles, and training plans for engineering projects; performing requirement analysis, design document analysis, embedded software development, requirements based testing, debugging, software code coverage report generation, code coverage report analysis, data coupling and control coupling as per FAA, and reverse engineering and traceability. Experience with MS office, MS Visio, MMP Program/Project Management tool; ADAS, and CAPA also required.
