To provide engineering support to the site Maintenance and Production Departments specifically within the Electrical and Instrumentation field
|Manage the sites maintenance requirements for PAT testing, fixed wiring, lightning protection, thermography, equipment calibration and emergency lighting.|
Liaise with production and engineering personnel to ensure change programmes are appropriate and delivered accurately, on schedule and with minimum downtime.
Keep the SAP maintenance system up-to-date in terms of data entry and use it to ensure all electrical equipment has an effective preventative maintenance regime.
Lead the site’s condition monitoring efforts.
Manage the equipment requiring overhauling to ensure spares availability is maintained.
Support the site team in maintenance of the high voltage electrical equipment.
Interface with regulatory authorities and statutory legislation contractors to ensure the full compliance of electrical systems.Ensure company health, safety and environmental standards are also achieved
Report Writing/Record Keeping:
Plant/equipment breakdown reports and analysis in SAP
Maintain hazardous area inspection documentation
Maintain equipment calibration records
Maintain/analyze of condition monitoring trend graphs
Upkeep or preventative maintenance records in SAP
Maintain the High Voltage system documentation
Plant modifications (written)
Maintenance management system (electronic)
Engineering standards (written)
Local Engineering procedures (written)

Historical data (written and electronic)
Maintenance requirements for the High Voltage System
Risk assessments and method statements
A sound electrical engineering background with previous HV switching experience educated to recognized electrical apprenticeship or HND. Ability to work unsupervised and to interact with staff of various disciplines. The post-holder should be IT literate and able to produce detailed planned maintenance reports, work programs and schedules.
Candidates are required to have unrestricted authorization to work in the United Kingdom.
If currently an employee of the Company, you must have current satisfactory work performance and in most cases, have been in your current role 18 months.
