Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for: 1) working as part of a 2nd Shift team with Production Operations (especially Final Finish and Flight Line) to resolve issues associated with the application of LO materials in a high-rate environment; 2) assisting with Signature M&P (SM&P) supplier coordination; 3) helping to develop and reviewing training curricula; 4) coordination as part of a team with operational bases, depots, and flight test centers; 5) the development and writing of processes and specifications for various LO material systems; 6) coordination with all Engineering disciplines affected by SM&P decisions; 7) providing information related to the reporting of issues and/or results to upper management and/or the customer; 8) assisting in the development and overseeing the execution of material qualification plans; and 9) assisting with overall coordination with contractor and JPO Material, Signature, Sustainment, ES&H, Supply Chain Management, and Supportable LO engineers.
MUST BE A US CITIZEN. SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in one of the following fields: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related technical degree.

- Experience with production operation management and Materials / Processes Specifications.

- Active Secret clearance

Desired skills
Demonstrated experience with PDM and QADS
Applicant should have knowledge of the F-35 Corrective Action (CA) process, and be able to support and lead a CA team. Applicant should be able to support complex customer and supplier interactions, and should be familiar with Procurement processes, practices, and personnel. Applicant should be able to independently assess required disposition(s) for QARs, SPARs, and PRs and work across IPTs as necessary to achieve closure. Applicant must be familiar with both Material and Process specifications, and be able to independently author and release updates and original documents of either type. Applicant should be able to develop, schedule, and price material investigations ranging in scope from minor updates to new inventions with minimal input from SM&P management, and to work with lab personal to execute these investigations. Applicant should be able to initiate, bid, and execute F-35 Blueprint for Affordability and Reliability / Maintainability Improvement Program efforts with minimal input from SM&P management.
