Job Description
Manage the Product Quality Assurance team in LM RMS Syracuse, NY. The PQA Manager will lead the quality
team, partnering with Product Operations, to ensure
manufactured product meets all contractual requirements. The PQA manager is the primary interface to the local DCMA quality team that represents our DOD
customers. There is extensive interaction and teaming with a complex multi-functional team that includes Product Operations, Engineering, Program Offices, and other RMS manufacturing locations. The PQA team is directly responsible for product inspection, quality process review and approvals, defect monitoring and trending, leading root cause analysis, and ensuring effectiveness of
corrective actions. The PQA manager leads the
implementation of the AS9100 compliant Quality
Management System in the manufacturing areas.

Basic Qualifications
- Proven ability to develop and deploy advanced product
quality techniques in production of complex electronic and
mechanical equipment. These techniques to include
product inspection methods and equipment, process
controls, mistake proofing, and statistical controls.

- Understanding of AS9100 requirements.

- Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations.

- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead complex teams
in a high pressure, fast paced manufacturing environment.

- Demonstrated ability to perform as Full Spectrum Leader

- Experience in test techniques of electronic assemblies and systems

- Experience with DOD customer interface

- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Technical degree in Engineering, Math, or Science
