Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systemshas an opening for a Engineer Supplier Quality 2, to join our team ofqualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in theGreater Wichita Kansas area, with 100% local travel to supplies in the state of KS. Some out of state travel may be required from time to time.

The selected candidate willcollaborate with program management, engineering, subcontracts/procurementfunctional management and supplier management teams to ensure that allprocurements meet or exceed the requirements of external and internalcustomers. Candidate will perform in process and final buy off inspections ofhardware at supplier's facilities. Perform root cause and corrective actionactivities, perform audits to AS9100 and specifications, collect data formetrics and trending, develop and execute quality improvement plans,develop and execute supplier management plans, participate in subcontractreview of suppliers, responsible for suppliers quality score cards,.

The selected candidate should thrivein a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverseassignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.






Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering     or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university/college and a minimum of  2 Years' Experience in Quality in the Aerospace Industry
  • Demonstrated experience with AS9100 
  • Must have the ability to gain a DOD Secret Security Clearance post hire



Preferred Qualifications:    

  •  Active DOD Security Clearance
  • Experience with Composite
  • Experience with machined metals
