Position Description

This position will be an Engineer I that could work in one of the following areas.

Designs, upgrades, inspects, and maintains the electrical distribution system in accordance with the National Electrical Code and National Electrical Safety Code standards to provide reliable electrical service to the customers in Horry and Georgetown counties in accordance with applicable company standards, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities also include maintaining an accurate electronic model of the Geographic Information System (GIS).

Maintains an electrical GIS model of the Santee Cooper distribution system by utilizing ESRI's ArcMap and Schneider Electric’s Designer GIS software.
Responsibilities include providing technical support, working with system users to maintain accurate facility records reflective of the electrical system, and general GIS updates.
Assists with activities related to the operation and maintenance of Santee Cooper's GIS system.
Some System Administrative duties are required, including routine maintenance to the GIS system.

Position Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited school.
Fundamental of Engineering certification preferred.

Salary Information

$63,880-$79,840 (min-mid)
