Principal Systems Engineer-- Telecommute / Remote, Relocate to Austin

What you'll be doing:
As part of our CloudInfrastructure Engineering team, you will work with our Hosted CollaborationSolutions division supporting Cloud based enterpriseenvironments and will have exposure to virtualization software, SANinfrastructure, and datacenter networking.
What you'll bring to us:
- Daily tasks include advanced server staging, AD configuration, and deployment of VM instances
- Shared responsibility and daily operational design and deployment of entire server environment
- Enterprise patch management and enterprise server management
Working with a team to help maintain thevSphere infrastructure within global data centers in support of Cisco's hostedcloud solution service offering for our enterprise clients.
Will work with a team to help support CiscoUCS B series blade server chassis
Responsible for producing high qualitydeliverables in a timely fashion.
Work with vendors / cross team engineeringgroup/s to provide solutions to complex issues.
Ability to work flexible hours including oncall and after hours work for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
What skillsyou'll need:
- 6 years enterprise level administration and troubleshooting experience with Windows Server
4 years' experience deploying, supporting,and administering VMware 5.0 in large virtual server infrastructureenvironments is a plus
Understanding and experience of networkingtechnologies including AD, DNS, WINS, and DHCP.
Knowledge of Cisco UCS B series blade serverchassis and Cisco UCS Manager 2.0 or later.
Experience with Cisco, HP or Intel serverhardware, firmware, BIOS, RAID, server backups and server security along withSAN including EMC, VNX, VNXe, VMAX, or Isilon is a plus
Must possess good problem solving andtroubleshooting skills in supporting enterprise level clients, logical andmethodical problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate and justifythe resolution process where necessary.
VCP, MCSA or MCSE certifications preferred butnot required
