ISE4 - Data Loss Prevention
Successful candidate will be an experienced, well-rounded Information Security Engineer.  The DLP engineering team is responsible for implementing technology solutions to prevent the loss of sensitive or confidential data.  This position will support security applications that align with the broader DLP team objectives and requirements.  The position may also provide assistance to senior DLP engineers with engineering projects and tasks as needed.  The successful candidate must be comfortable working on multiple dynamic projects simultaneously.  The DLP Engineering team acts as the primary liaison with all technical teams interacting with DLP systems. The position will also be responsible for participating in support of the DLP application, and will be part of a 24x7 on-call rotation.
A Successful Candidate Will Possess the Following:

  • Experience in a large financial or other regulated environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven flexibility and ability to work in a fast changing high paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail




Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of information security applications and systems experience
  • 2+ years of experience working in a large enterprise network organization
  • 3+ years of technical troubleshooting experience
  • 3 + years of experience with Symantec DLP (Data Loss Prevention)
  • 3+ years of Linux experience or Microsoft Windows 2012-16 Server support experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be proactive, innovative and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs
  • Ability to identify and manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization
  • Knowledge and understanding of data loss prevention concepts and techniques
  • Knowledge and understanding of mitigating security controls (, antivirus, IPS or IDS, email filtering, web site blocking, patching) and how they work in an overall defense in depth risk assessment methodology
  • 1+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Shell, VBScript, or JavaScript

Job Expectations

  • Ability to work on call as assigned
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
