It's an exciting time to be a part of Wells Fargo's Enterprise Network Services organization. This newly created position will help shape and transform Wells Fargo's software defined data center landscape. As a network management system engineer, you will be responsible for managing multiple data center network configuration management systems critical to day to day device management as well as continued process improvement activities around automation, standardization, and scalability. A high level of ownership and accountability will be critical in this role as will problem solving and creativity focused on continuous process improvement.

The position will report into the Network Automation manager within the Enterprise Network Services organization.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Administering and supporting critical network management systems
  • Partnering with engineering and operations team members and vendors to provide continuous system improvements
  • Contributing knowledge and experience of network management systems to aid with strategic direction
  • Performing routine system software upgrades following standard testing and change management procedures
  • Conducting routine BCP testing and ensuring adherence to all system policies

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in network operations, network engineering, or a combination of both
  • 4+ years of experience with network management tools and protocols

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
  • Cisco Certifications (CCNA/CCNP)
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
  • Ability to manage initiatives including: detailed planning, process management, and documentation
  • IT Infrastructure Library Certification (ITIL)
  • Knowledge of data center equipment (Server, Storage, Network)
  • Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience as an adminstrator for Network Management Systems/Tools
  • Experience with Cisco Data Center Network Manager (DCNM), Arista CloudVision Portal, Cisco ACI
  • Experience with Ansible or other automation orchestration tools such as Chef, Puppet, HPOO, etc.
  • Experience with scripting and templating languages such as Perl, Python, Jinja, YAML
  • Experience with GitHub or other version control solutions
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

Job Expectations

  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
