Job Description

Job Description

At Wells Fargo, we want to satisfy our customers’ financial needs and help them succeed financially. We’re looking for talented people who will put our customers at the center of everything we do. Join our diverse and inclusive team where you’ll feel valued and inspired to contribute your unique skills and experience.

Help us build a better Wells Fargo. It all begins with outstanding talent. It all begins with you.

Risk management at Wells Fargo is organized with clearly defined lines of defense to provide effective risk oversight and decision-making across the organization. Each line of defense is assigned specific responsibilities and understands the associated activities it is expected to perform.

The Corporate Risk function is responsible for Wells Fargo’s independent risk management and it provides senior management and the Board with an independent perspective of the level of risk to which the Company is exposed across all relevant risk types - compliance risk, credit risk, interest rate risk, liquidity risk, market risk, model risk, operational risk, reputation risk, strategic risk - both in aggregate and individually. Corporate Risk establishes, implements, and maintains the Company’s risk management program under the direction of the Board Risk Committee and senior management, oversees the front line of defense’s execution of its risk management responsibilities, and independently and credibly challenges front line risk decisions.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer 1 to join the Corporate Risk Strategy, Risk Business Architecture, and Business Process Management Team.  Business Process Management (BPM) is a management discipline for defining, measuring, improving, and governing business processes so that Wells Fargo can deliver consistent, desired outcomes for our customers, manage our operations efficiently and effectively, and strengthen risk management and compliance.

We believe that Process Excellence is made up of elements of leadership, teamwork, methods, and practices. We believe it is foundational to the repeatability of any operation, service, function or capability we utilize in the bank. When learned and embedded into a business culture, a business can transform many key attributes including quality, cost, risk and productivity. Ultimately, we want to create an environment that maximizes the talent of our team members and our knowledge of Process Excellence so that we can deliver world class solutions and services to our customer base.
