Wells Fargo's Chief Technology Office - Enterprise Application Hosting Services (EAHS) is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Value Stream Engineer position. This new position will be critical in helping build an Application and Web Logging function responsible to maintain high quality process standards and checks on controls. In this role, the candidate acts a liaison between owning technology CIO teams, EAHS Engineering and peer teams across Information & Cyber Security (ICS) & Information Technology (IT).  An ideal candidate acts in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex initiatives. Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing. Leads most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for working across the Tools Engineering teams building data representation views to drive transparency towards Application Logging Compliance.
  • Value Stream Mapping  of current processes and driving automation of all manual processes.
  • Conduct assessment by reviewing the logs, data consolidation and analysis.
  • Conduct reviews and follow-ups with the CIO App Owners and Engineering Teams
  • Responsible for reviews and  assessments and continuous updates based on Security Logging standards.
  • Acts as expert technical resource to staff in the development, testing, and implementation process.
  • Responsible for UAT testing and validation of Application Logging utilities
  • Responsible for Dashboard development, maintenance and management
  • Develops new documentation, creates test scripts, participates in the development of technical procedures, and designs user guides for tools
  • Resolves any issues related to the usage of the tools


Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 3+ years of process engineering experience
  • 1+ years of experience creating executive level dashboards, analytics, and reports using advanced visualization tools



Desired Qualifications

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology servers or systems that support/host web applications
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
  • Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working on Middleware Products, Cloud Technologies and Monitoring and Logging Products.
  • Solid understanding of agile software development lifecycle and JIRA.  
  • Experience in writing Splunk queries and administration. 
  • ITIL V3 certified, Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Certified Splunk Core Certified Power User
